Two people on Thursday passed on and 16 others harmed in a car collision, which happened on Wednesday at Tasharkofa town along Kano-Zaria street.
The Kano Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), who affirmed the episode, said that the mishap happened because of over speeding, which as per him prompted tire burst.
Zubairu Mato, the FRSC Sector Commander said, “We got a call at about 07:05 a.m on Feb. 10, 2021.
“On accepting the data, we immediately dispatched our faculty and vehicle to the location of the occurrence to protect the casualties at about 07:15a.m,” Mato said.
He added the burst in the long run prompted a crash including two vehicles, a Toyota with enlistment number: MSA 943 XA and a business transport without enrollment number.
He said the casualties were cleared to Kura General Hospital where the specialist on the job affirmed them dead.
The 16 survivors are at present accepting medicines at the clinic.
