The Federal Government has increased the number of N-Power recipients from 500,000 to one million

In an effort to achieve its goal of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in ten years, the federal government has expanded the number of beneficiaries under the N-power program from 500,000 to 1,000,000.
Sir Joseph Ari, Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), stated this at the graduation ceremony and distribution of start-up packs to beneficiaries of the 2020 National Industrial Skills Development Programme (NISDP), which was held by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic as part of our efforts to provide Nigerians with technical skills for job and business opportunities.
Tailoring, Information Technology, and Cosmetology were taught to 11,100 Nigerians, the majority of whom were youngsters.
Given the circumstances in which the government did the training, the ITF’s president said that
“As a result, the ceremony we are witnessing today is not only an expression of our unwavering desire, but also a message to all Nigerians that, despite adversity and challenges, we as indigenes will prevail,” he said.
