Schools in Ogun state begin purchase of hand-held thermometers ahead of resumption
The Nigerian educational system is no doubt one of the best in the African sphere. For clarity, students from across Nigeria represent the country well in continental competitions. This feat spearhead our bragging rights as the giant of Africa. Likewise, UNILAG got the tag of the best Nigerian school in Africa earlier this year. All these and many more set our pace on the track.
As the total lockdown eases, the PTF on COVID-19 is setting plans to restructure the economy. Certainly, the organization of the WASSCE is part of the masterplan. Different state governments have been releasing the resumption dates for schools. More of which brightens the smiles of students at all levels.
Following the announcement from Gov Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state, Private schools set out to purchase of infrared thermometers. As a result, they are fighting a chance to prevent the spread of the novel Virus.
In a commodity market today, the propietor of New Creation schools (Alagabado, Ogun State) said:
” ……..Most importantly, the safety of everyone is the burden of the school authority. Meanwhile, it is right to obey the constituted authorities. Private schools have been to ordered to purchase infrared thermometers. I got this for the sum of #10,000. Similarly, handrubs like sanitizers have been booked for resumption. To sum it up, we pray…….”
