At UFC 261 in Florida, Nigerian boxer Kamaru Usman knocked out Jorge Masvidal in the second round to retain the undisputed UFC welterweight title.
The fight took place in front of 15,000 fans in Jacksonville and was a rematch of their previous encounter at UFC 251.
Usman’s victory boosted his record to 19-1 and increased his unbeaten streak to 18 fights, including 14 consecutive UFC victories.
The Nigerian now has the second-longest winning streak in UFC history, thanks to his victory on Sunday. Usman had previously tied Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jon Jones for the most consecutive victories with 13 in a row.
