Reno Omokri believes that Imo state would not have gotten to where it is currently if the state’s immediate previous governor, Emeka Ihedioha, had not been dismissed from office.
In January 2020, the Supreme Court dismissed Ihedioha from office. Reno penned
“Imo has been hopeless since the Supreme Court placed Hope Uzodinma on the state. Nigeria is haunted by this decision.
Its effects are contaminating other states outside of Imo. I hope Imo does not end up being to the 4th Republic what Ondo was to the 2nd.
Imo would never have degenerated to this level if Emeka Ihedioha had not been unfairly removed.
When you utilize federal force to impose a leader on a state, that state may grow so enraged that the same federal power will be unable to hide the aftermath of their coverup.”
