Imo: Gunmen set fire to Gov. Uzodinma’s home, killing two security personnel

Unknown gunmen have targeted Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma’s country house.
According to The Country, gunmen broke into Uzodinma’s home in Omuma, Orlu East Local Government Area, on Saturday morning.
Two security personnel on duty were allegedly killed by the gunmen.
The attackers’ fire spread to vehicles parked at the compound and a portion of the house, according to reports.
Declan Emelumba, the State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, confirmed the incident, saying, “It is real, but the information is still unclear.”
“It is not accurate that any security guards died. At the governor’s residence, two security guards were killed.
“During the attack, NSCDC staff were among the security men who died,” he said.
