Chelsea have been linked with a surprising move for a PSG first-team player.

Tuchel signed the holding midfielder for the Parisians in a £27 million deal from Everton, and given that the Senegal international has failed to make an impact at the Parc des Princes this season, he will relish the opportunity to rekindle his career under his former coach.
The west Londoners need cover in that area at the very least, but Idrissa is unlikely to join the London heavyweights unless he knows he will be the first pick.

In other news, it was recently announced that Erling Haaland is Chelsea’s top priority. That does not change with the arrival of Thomas Tuchel.
