Legendary Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has admitted he refused to re-sign Cesc Fabregas, as a result of he needed to line associate example to the younger players at the club.

Fabregas came back to city in 2011, however 3 years later, the midfielder was on the move another time.

Arsenal had a primary choice to purchase the Spanish midfielder, however despite disbursal eight years with the Gunners, he terminated up creating a surprise switch to Chelsea, WHO were managed by Jose Mourinho at the time.

Fabregas has since admitted that his preference was to come back to the Emirates and he was looking ahead to his former club to trigger their possibility.
However, Wenger, in associate interview with The Athletic, said: “It was general steerage on behalf of me to create the players realise that if you permit here, you don’t return.

“It was the simplest way to retain the players WHO needed to examine if the grass was greener elsewhere.

“I did it for Thierry Henry, Sol mythologist, Jens Lehmann, however they were totally different.

“The young players WHO left; I didn’t prefer to get it on.”
